Construction officially started Monday on a new multifamily community in the Heritage Creekside development. Located at 601 Belpree Drive, it will feature 326 apartment homes that should be completed in 2024.
“We are ecstatic to be breaking ground on our next phase at Heritage Creekside, which moves us one step closer to setting a new standard of living for the area,” Tim Harris, Vice President of Rosewood Property Company, said. “This new development has been designed from the beginning to cultivate community among the residents, as well as the surrounding neighborhoods. We have worked extensively over the years with the city and nearby residents to put together a great community that benefits the entire Plano community.”
Rosewood owns the entire 156-acres Heritage Creekside development near the intersection of Central Expressway and President George Bush Turnpike. It includes restaurants such as Flying Fish, Rodeo Goat and the soon-to-open Taco Joint, as well as Orangetheory Fitness.
This latest project 4.29-acres project is a partnership between Rosewood and MetLife Investment Management. In addition to apartments, developers say it will include a “highly amenitized” club room, a co-working space, fitness center, golf simulator, luxury pool, and “multiple activated courtyards.” There will also be access to a restored creek bed of Pitman Creek and other nearby natural features.
Apartment homes are expected to be available for lease in the fall of 2023, with the first residents moving in before the end of the year.
