Event rental space Old Community Well (named for its intact 1800s water well), located in the Downtown Plano Arts District, will transition by the end of March to a wine and beer retailer and tasting room. The second floor of Old Community Well will convert to a lounge with a candlelit, bohemian vibe so guests may take a glass of wine upstairs to enjoy while overlooking historic Downtown Plano. The second floor will also be available for rent for private parties or events.
The historic space plans to feature a robust calendar of events hosting live music performances, local artists and craft nights. Independent book retailer Bibliobar will have a semi-permanent home near the entrance for guests to preview or purchase books to take home.
